These terms apply when you request a SuliHuli API key. You accept them by ticking "I agree to the API Terms" before the key is issued. In short: build products and agents on our data, show where it comes from, and do not copy the database, resell it or use it to train models.

Scope and acceptance

These API Terms are an agreement between you and Sergei Sulimko, the operator of SuliHuli. They cover the API, the MCP server and any data feed you access with a key (together, "the API"). The Terms of Use also apply. If these API Terms and the Terms of Use differ, these API Terms apply to keyed access.

If you accept on behalf of a company or another organisation, you confirm that you may bind it, and "you" means that organisation.

Your key and limits

  • A key belongs to one account. Keep it secret and do not share it or put it in public code.
  • The limits of your plan are shown in your account. Do not use several keys or accounts to exceed them.
  • We may rotate, limit or revoke a key that is leaked, abused or used against these terms, and we tell you why when we can.

What you may build

You may use API responses in your own website, app, internal tool or AI agent to show, compare and explain specific vehicles to your users, including retrieval at the moment a user asks a question.

Attribution

  • Wherever people see our data, show "Data: SuliHuli" with a link to the model page given in the response (the url field).
  • If you show a figure's source or date, keep them as delivered, together with its verified or unverified status.
  • Images: show the credit and licence delivered with each image, unchanged. This is a condition of the image licence, not only of these terms.

Caching and storage

You may cache responses for up to 7 days to serve your users, then refresh or delete them. Do not keep a copy of the catalog or of a substantial part of it.

What you may not do

  • download or store the whole catalog or a substantial part of it, or collect it gradually through many requests or keys (bulk use);
  • train, fine-tune or evaluate machine-learning models on API data, or build datasets or embeddings for that purpose;
  • build or feed a competing vehicle database, catalog, ranking, comparison service or data feed;
  • sell, sublicense or redistribute API data as data, alone or inside another dataset;
  • remove attribution, sources or the verified/unverified status, or present unverified figures as verified;
  • use the API against the law, to mislead people, or to test or break its security.

Images

Images are delivered with their credit and licence. Images under a free licence may be re-used only under that licence. Images marked as manufacturer press photos may not be shown outside SuliHuli; link to the model page instead. Details: Image credits & licences.

Paid plans, if offered, show the price, the billing period, the renewal date and how to cancel before you pay. Those details form part of these terms for that plan.

Changes to the API and availability

The free plan has no uptime guarantee. We give at least 30 days' notice by email before a change that breaks existing integrations, except where security or the law requires a faster change.

Ending the agreement

You may stop using the API and delete your key at any time. We may end or suspend access for a breach of these terms or if we stop offering the API. When access ends, delete cached API data within 7 days.

No warranty and liability

The API is provided as it is, with the same limits on warranty and liability as the Terms of Use. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We email key holders at least 14 days before a material change to these API Terms. If you continue to use your key after that date, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, delete your key.
